20's are ok but man it was 3 here this morning and i just started puttin in underground fire main this morning. heck of a time to start work outdoors

6:30 am this morning the receiver guy i am delivering sheet rock too knocks on my cab and wakes me up. says to untarp it they are ready to unload. i crawl out the sleeper put my coat on and go to climb outa the truck. hlfway down the steps i stated back up cause i needed some more clothes on. -5 and the wind was blowing 30, what that figures out in windchill i dont know but it was friggen cold. that was up just a little north of madison wisconsin. after i got that done i didnt get back outa the truck til i got home to iowa where it was a balmy 27 degrees.

been there had a pete with a 1693 ta cat that would not even get hot i mean the gauge would not move up at all. at 60 mph back in 78 my co and i took 15 min. turns as that was all we could stand with out getting back in the bunk. out side it was something like -60 with the chill factored in
we where some whar in your area on i80 going west . wound up parking the rig at a stop living it run and stayed inside for 2 days. have not liked cold since

It was -4 degrees here in Omaha Nebraska yesterday. My truck did not want to start it sounded tired. I thought my battery was done for then it turned over. Right now it rained for a few hours and now the roads are nothing but ice. I drive a 2wd ranger and lukily put on new AT tires on it and now im getting around great with out sand bags

Thanks for the relpies guys. Just thought i would convert that -35*c to *f for you states guys. It equals -26*f. Sorry i didn't do it in my first post. Can you say COLD!!!!! My buddies Duramax died and still can't get going. I got some pics me towing it with my powerstroke. I'm gonna post them later. The taste of victory is sweet(HAHA)Have a good one!!

Its only been about 5 or 10 degrees last time I checked. I wish it would either get colder, or snow more. LOL. I know theres guys here who would shoot me for that comment. Merry Christmas All

We have it rough out here in the west (AZ). heh. I think it was maybe in the 50's this morning on the way into work (~6am). By the time I got in, a sweatshirt was all I needed to get from my truck to the building. I think it's in the 70's by now, a bit after 2pm..

I don't know how you guys do it in that cold. And by cold I mean anything less than 40. haa haa...

For you folks where it is so cold, take a positive look. You can probably get a part time job with the Fire Department chipping dogs off fire hydrants.

Last night here in CT the temp. was 1* F. Tonight was the first night I've plugged my truck in all year. Ahhh, plus today is also the first day of Winter. I want it to be summer again lol Oh well,, tomorrow it's going to be in the 50's so all will be well again.

It was 75 here in South Texas today, but its going down to 45 tonight! It is gonna drop like a rock, though, down to 20 by Christmas eve. One thing about all this sunshine...you don't have to shovel it, plow it, or scrape it off your windshield!! I grew up outside of Buffalo, so I really feel for all you icicle lickers!
