Cool This is bad!

Had to put up my 1980 f-100 for the season. until today i thought i was gonna be able to drive it all the time. But i was wrong today we got dumped on by 2 feet of snow. and the truck being 2 wheel drive i figured i would go get my other one out for the remainder of winter. (2003 F-250 7.3 PSD) but anyways i figured i would take this post and also introduce myself.

my name is brandon wallace i'm 16 years of age. work in construction jr in highschool. live in the crappy state of michigan. bought my first ford truck when i was 14 years old for 200$ (the 1980 i just put up) but my 1980 origionally had a 300 6 in it but i put 3:73 with a 460 BB in it, has a 2 bbl 650 holley carb, 3.5 inch flowmaster exhust stage 3 w/ stage 2 mufflers. lowered 2 inch with a homemade kit (couldnt find a reg lowering kit) unfortunity i have no idea what color to paint it but it is in grey primer right now. i think i will go with a high gloss black. rims are 17" AR torque trust if anyone is interested. interior is still in rough shape. but i recently put in a new wooden floor in the bed and new floorpanels/cab corners on the truck, its shortbed flareside. i'll post pics asap.

Your truck sounds like a lot like mine, only i bought springs and a rear shackle/hanger kit for the rear for a 2/4 drop, and it has a 350hp windsor, and the truck is a flareside as well. But anyway it sounds like a winner, (i have pics of mine in my gallery) and if want another idea for paint do a search in this forum on : paintin' my flare.

looks pretty good cody. that is almost how mine sits. but my drop is a 1/3 i couldnt get the springs to compress anymore. and with me doing it on my own. rides really rough. i also put 2 bucket seats out of a 2002 chevy with leather/ heated, and inbetween the seats sit 2x 12 inch Bla Punkt subs and the head unit is a pioneer

My truck rides on the rough side, but it will out handle the majority of vehicles on the road (light weight, big sway bars front and rear, and stiffer front springs), i am now running an alpine deck and alpine v-12 class d digital amp, i was going to go leather but the weather here is to hard on the stuff and it would be toast in a few years. But them buckets are oh so nice, and it was worth it losing a few inches of leg room.

I put a 40/20/40 seat oin mine that I picked up with a parts truck. It's basically 2 bucket seats with a fold down console that can be folded up for use of the seat. I really like it, way better than the factory bench. It;s nice having 2 arm rests for when I'm on my own, or just the wife with me.

Yeah i made an oak center console, then i used a jump seat from a 92 supercab for a middle seat, just need to get a better frame work made up for so it quits resting on the back of the cab.

I like creeping in the snow in my 2WD passing all the 4X4 guys in the ditches but 2 feet would kinda keep me off the road.

I see your Michigan, so does that mean half of your 03 F250 is rusted out already? J/K
