np 208 problems

4 wheel drive is not working. Couldnt decide whether it was the hubs or the transfer case. I put the truck in 4 hi, got under it and tried to turn the driveshaft, and it would not turn. Assumed that the transfer case was engaging, yet I still do not have 4 wheel drive. Could the manuel hubs be the problem? The drivers side hub seems to turn to the lock position easier than the passenger side one, leading me to think that it may be the problem.

sounds like it to me. put your tcase in neutral and lock it your hubs, then try to turn the axle shafts where they go into the axle tube.. when they are locked, the shafts won't turn by hand. Find the one that turns.. it is probably the passenger- but check them both.
