I have a 1999 V10, (Dutchstar Motorhome) I am getting a Code P1131 which my reader says is a Manufacture Control, Fuel/Air Metering. Any body have a sugestion as to where I should start looking? Thank you, I would appreciate any help.
Thanks for the tip, i will check them out. I have been told that the 1131 code refers to the right bank, so maybe i could swap the left and righy o2's and see if any thing changes?
I had a problem with my 2003 Gulfstream E350/V10 motor home where the engine would not run at high rpm. The longer I drove it, the lower the usable rpm became until I reached the point where I could only drive 45 mph to limp home. Each time the problem occurred I would see error code 1131 or 1132, or both. The problem ended up being a huge amount of rust in the fuel tank. A new fuel pump/filter and thorough flushing of the tank was the solution. I hope your problem is not rust because removing the tank on a RV is nearly impossible without putting the RV on a lift. In my case I lowered the tank to the ground and crawled under the RV to work on it. Good luck.
