im running the gear vendors over in my 94.5 superduty and ive got the us gear overdrive in my 97 and like the one from us gear better. it maybe just cause the us gear one is newer and it was an easier install. but....?? i like the gear splitting action of both of them its real nice when you need a gear just a little taller or a little shorter than the one your in. it didnt make much of a fuel mileage differnce, it varyied a couple trips i saw a 3-4 mpg increase but for the most part when im towing i seem to always get right about 12mpg with a trailswest 4 horse trailer behind me wieghs about 12k loaded up. i like how much easier it seemed to be running up the grades with it. but ive got manual trans in my trucks also. kinda looking at a new international 4300 crew cab loprofile with a DT466 in it....looking bigger trailer right now too
