First Christmas present?

As Christmas nears and I have been shopping I got to thinking about all the Christmas that have gone by. As I was shopping I started to think about the first present I could remember receiving. I know there were others but the first one that I really remember is my very first bicycle that my grandfather got for me. I must have been about 3-4 I think but is has stayed with me all these years.

So how about any of you out there, what is the first Christmas present you remember receiving?

The earliest was a set of orange hot wheel tracks and some hot wheel cars. That would have been around '71.

According to some old Super-8 movies, it would be this set of plastic bowling pins and plastic bowling ball. This would be 1972 or so. Don't have any movies before that because none of them are without my brother in it - and he didn't come around until 1971. Not that I remember a bit of any of that.

Me too, although it would have been about '75.
Coincedently the first woopin' I remember was on the day after Christmas with a piece of Hot Wheels track.

I left that part out as part of my memory blocking technique.

It's like a bright orange sign saying "Beat him with this!"

The first thing I remember getting would have to be one of them kiddy RC cars. I believe it was a cop car of some sort. It was one of them ones that went forward, then backed up and turned when you let off the trigger. Anyway, I recall opening it up and starting to play with it, then getting tinsle stuck in the axle and having to have my mom clean it out, then doing the same thing again.

Some form or another of Legos. Late 1980's. I was probably 5 or 6. That was the start of my love to build.

I remember my mom and dad got me the GI Joe aircraft carrier for christmas one year. Dad spent the entire day, and the next day muttering "SOME ASSEMBLY REQUIRED."

I do rember my first shotgun, I was 10 and my sister got married a week and a half later.

When i was 15 I got my first truck, 1983 F-250 4x4 300 I-6 4-speed, no rust but no heat, radio not working, choke not working, ran good otherwise. 8 months later when I got my license it was a complete different truck.

For Christmas this year i got my 9 year old nephew is first "real" firearm. A .22 cal. Marlin 7-shot bolt action rilfe. The kid was getting too god with my scoped Ruger 10/22, the gun is too accurate for him to learn good shooting skills with and he empties the clip out too quick. Now he'll have to rely on better marksmanship and learn to make the first shot count. If he buys a scope I'll put it on and show him how to zero it in, but till them he's shooting iron sights and hopefully shooting squirrels the old fashioned way next year.

thinking back i remember a metal erector set and the old big lionel trains that had 3 rails, but the one i remember most was my first rifle a winchester model 94-22 lever action that along with boy scouts started the gun collection. and later the 50 ford flat head 8, 2 door pop gave me and helped hop up.

Thumbs up What Would You Realy Like For Christmas This Year

What would you really like for Christmas this year, I am not talking about a NEW CAR OR TRUCK but something that you wanted for a long time and needed it. You know Christmas is not to see who getts the BIGGEST present but about the throught that went behide it. So most of us wanted a tool or something out there and just put off buying it, wouldn't this be a nice time to ask Santa for it?
I bet anything it would mean more to you than anything if you got it.
