BBK Cold Air Induction System
I have a 1997 F150 4X4 with a 4.6L motor and Automatic Transmission.
I installed the BBK Cold Air Induction this fall and I like the small increase in power and mileage.
But, I have a noise coming from this cold air induction system when the motor is at idile. It sounds like a Fog Horn and the RPM increases as it's making this sound. At times I can make it stop by stepping on the gas.
With the hood up I can hear something opening and closing (a thumping sound).
Is there anyone out there that knows what the problem and solution maybe for this condition? (Besides removing the BBK Cold Air Induction)
