Question Will 15" wheels fit?

Just got an '02 XLT 4x4 ... has tiny wheels and tires...so an upgrade is in order. Being that 15 inch wheels are so much cheaper, can I run them? Or will they hit my brakes etc.. Any experience or knowledge in the dept. is appreciated.
Thanks Guys, John

Hi John and welcome to FTE

Nope 15" wheels won't clear the brake calipers.
16s are getting cheaper all the time though now that more vehicles use them.

No. You need 16-inch or greater wheels for your truck. 15's do not have enough clearence for your disc brakes.

7" wide is pretty much standard. I'd like to have 17x8's on mine one day.
