lift?

Anyone have any pictures of their 90 f-250 perferably if anything else that is fine to. Thinking of putting one on my dads 90 250 7.3. Was it somthing that was really easy? thinking of going 4" and what is the biggest size tires can put on the factory rims?

Not a lot of people in here have lifted trucks. You can fit 35's with no lift (see my gallery). There are all tire sizes for 16.5" rims, so that isnt of any concern. You need to worry about rubbing on your leaves of bumper. I have a replacement bumper, so I cant estimate what you could fit with a 4" lift. With the 4" you can get 38's for sure.
Pretty much anyone with a lifted 89-97 F 250 or F350 will give you an idea of what it will look like. The only person that I know of with a lifted 250/350 is CleatusR in the PSD and Off-Road forums. His is a 95 PSD. Its crunk. 18" of lift and 49" IROKs. A little more than you are looking for, I know, just but for awe, look at it in his gallery.

Lifts are probably the easiest major component replacement.
No fabbing is required, except on some kits you have to cut the anti roll bars and put a 4" extender in place and weld it in. You dont need anti roll bars if you have leaf springs.

If you tip the bottom of the front bumper out a little you can clear 35s but I wouldnt recommend it. It rubs sometimes and the tipped out bumper looks awful.

Thumbs up

I run a 5" lift (currently) and clear 35's easily with no bumber mods. as for rubbing on leaves I have a 1/2" spacer plate and the onlty time i can get it to rub is on hard landing with wheels turned

A 12.5" wide tire is pushing it on a stock rim. Definitely nothing wider than that.
