cracked 89 2.3 head

Sent out my 89 2.3lt 8 plug 4cyl engine after 2500,000 miles to be rebuilt, rebuilder said it's cracked,where I don't know,but I can't seem to find one other then the dealer who wants $800 for it. where might I find one,or can the crack be pinned,or what motor can I swap,(the easyest) I dont want to spen $2000 on a rebuild,I'd use that on down payment for a new truck,and don't want to put the truck out to pasture it's in too good of shape.

Where are you located? I have an 89 twin plug 125,000, somthing wrong with the electronic ignition, no spark, see my post, engine ran, wont start, no spark.
