Steering columns.
Hi, this is my first post. I have a 79 f100 that apparently had a c6 automatic and a 400.
Both were out when I got it. I am putting my 1986 5.0 HO mustang motor in it (Fuel injected) mated to a t5 5 speed. I need to either convert my non tilt column shift or get another one that will work with my floor shift. I've taken it apart past the turn signal assembly but that's it. Any suggestions? Thanks.

I once heard that there was a Manual trans Tilt wheel, BUT,
I have never seen one personally & I have seen thousands of these trucks.
Why not just remove the gear shift lever & tape a Tach there ?
That comes right out when you knock the clevis pin out of the shift cowl.
