Jack Stands!!!

hey ya'll i got a 7.3 f-250 crew cab! im not sure how much she weighs i was told its about 6000 lbs. anyways, i bought two 2-ton jack stands. will these jacks stands hold her up or will she fall on me? OUCH! maybe i should go w/ the 3 tonners instead maybe???? ANY HELP would be appreciated. i hate returnin ****, especially at christmas!

I just bought two 3 ton stands today, they just looked and felt heavier. I hope they are OK..

You'll probably be fine. I weighed my truck at a gravel pit: 4000 lbs on the front axle and 3000 lbs on the rear, 7100 lbs total weight. That explains why I don't feel fluffy little critters under my wheels.

If you haven't used them yet, I would recommend taking them back and trading up to the 3 ton. I always feel more comfortable with a little overdesign when it comes to several tons over my head.

Nah, I'd take them back, get my money back and just pick up a couple old cinder blocks
