Stutter Is Normal Per Ford Engineering!!!
Sorry for hurting anyones feelings, but this truck is a POS. It is undriveable. Check back through my posts, and just see what is happening. I am not about to retype everything. This truck is not undriveable, but it is very close. Just last weekend, took the 5th wheel and went camping. I usually tow my jeep along with the trailer to do some 4 wheeling, but this time due to "other" plans, did not. I did decide to drive into one of the lakes with my truck. The road is BAD, but not undoable in a full size truck. Coming back out of the lake, in the mud, snow, and rocks, the truck would not go, period. If the tires were against any kind of restriction, the I could not start the truck rolling again. I met other trail users coming in when I was going out, and due to the nature of the trail, I need them to pull allong side me and then I needed to drive past them. I COULD NOT. I needed to back up jepardizing the other trail users, and get a run at it. Now mind you, it was in a mudhole, with rocks, but not steep, maybe only 5-10% grade. I several occasions, I literally would floor the truck, and wait 15-20 seconds before the engine would build enough boost to finally spin the back tires. Check it out, see how many of you can put your foot to the floor for 15-20 seconds and not have anything happen. That is a VERY VERY long time.
In case you are not aware of it, I am not a happy Found On Road Dead owner. $50k and gotten be nothing but headaches.
BTW, they have reflashed my truck, changed stuff, found codes, and fixed all kinds of stuff. It still does the bucking on the pass. Although the bucking is 10% of what it used to be. HOWEVER, in now has other issues it never exhibited before. For example, bucking while pulling the trailer. No power, poor fuel mileage.
I have looked into geting some tuner to try and correct the problems, but have been pushed away by the the tuner people. They think this problem should be fixed before adding other issues.
I sometimes thing it is a tranny issue. On the no power to move truck from stop issue, it almost seems like the truck is in high gear.(auto tranny)

If you are not trying to do things this truck wasn't meant to do, then i would say that you might wanna try a different dealer, usually this makes all the difference in the world. another thing i was wondering is if maybe it is your turbo that is the culprit, how much boost do you see when you are having these issues.
I didn't know if these issues were solved when i posted but posted strictly on interpreting my opinon on the engineers response, i don't tow with my truck and i live in flat south florida, so it is apples to oranges to montana.
I have been to three different dealers. None were even able to figure out why the key FOB's work intermittently.
