Diamond Plate Interior
Im planning on redoing the interior of my 87 Bronco2 and Ive decided to make the whole floor diamond plate. I was wondering what i should put under the diamond plate. I was thinkin neoprene or something along those lines... i may be way off track but thats why im posting this. somone please tell me what i should line it with to try and insulate against cold temperatures and such. Also I want it lined with somethin underneath the diamond plate to reduce any sort of rattleing that may occur with metal on metal.

I replaced a rubber floor in my 84 F-150 several years ago and the insulation needed replaced aas well. Since I coudln't get anythign at that time of night and I was wanting to get it done I went to the sheetmetal shop I worked in (I had a key) and got a section of 1" duct liner. I cut that to fit the floor and put it underneath. It did a real good job of keeping road noise (at least through the floor) out and it seemed to insulate well.
And yes I did figure up a bill on it and paid for the liner the next day at work.
