I've got a 92 f-150 2wd that is starting to get an intermittant vibration. not much in 1st and 2nd, although, more when accelerating. progressively getting louder.

The u-joint right behind the carrier bearing (or whatever the rubber surrounded joint is called) looks bad. I can wiggle it pretty good and can see that the rubber around a couple of the end caps is shot.

Is this causing my vibration?

I would say almost definately. They're super easy to change yourself.
