biggest power upgrade

Exclamation biggest power upgrade

what is the boggest power upgrade for an expo 5.4 lite under 500 bucks and is there any things i can do under the hood to free up some power for free

i agree with tuner..your only options under $500 are intake, exhaust, or tuner.

get a throttle body spacer, and K&N air filter, will cost around 150

But what kind of gains will you see? I've frequently switched between a K&N and a paper filter with zero effects.

I can't comment on the Diablo tuner, but do have the Superchip tuner and this by and far gives the most bang for the buck....especially considering I paid less than $300 for it.

I don't remember the exact gains but the two combined were a noticable diffrance. I plan on getting either superchips, or hypertech tuner.

As mentioned: Intake, Exhaust, and Computer. They all work off of eachother. The exhaust itself won't free up as much as it will when the intake and computer are modded, same goes for the others.

I would probably do the intake last - it is the least likely to be "overly restrictive" in this case compared to the exhaust and the limits placed by the computer.

My 302 responded quite nicely to the exhaust upgrade. Money well spent. Can't wait for my chip...
