2.3 Lima question????????

OK I know this may be a stupid question, but what does Lima refer to?

Where they engines were produced... Same place
as the 460...

OK I figured it was something like that. Is that the name of a factory? Where is it? And I assume it means the 2.0,2.3,and 2.5 engines that originally came out in the Pinto and early Capri? These engines were originaly German back then I belive.

The 2.0L EAO is a different engine than the 2.0L\2.3L\2.5L
Limas that came in the Rangers, it was built in England first,
then production was shared between England and Germany...
