Any information on the planning stages of a total rebuild of my 1979 F-250?

I'd personally go to the heavy duty forums or the one for '79's. I think you'll find a lot more help in the tech forums, but someone here may wish to offer some advice from experience. Do you plan to click the "join" button? Oh ... by the way ... welcome to FTE.

Not sure on what the join button is. I am new to this website and find it difficult to use.

Just take your time in using and learning the site. Nobody came here and began with absolute knowledge of how to use the site or where to find all the information.

The "join" button is outside this forum in the main forums list. It is a blue link inside the box that contains the name of the Chapter and the chapter leader's name. Just click that link and I will eventually find the join request and OK it.
