Crew cab frames

Are all years of crew cab frames the same? I have a 78 4x4 short box and the frame was shortened from a super cab. I might be able to get my hands on a 75 frame. Anyone know of any differences between the frames?

i know in the single cab there is a differents but in the crew cab i don't know but i'm shore there would be.

crews used the chassis-cab frame 2 and 4 wd. supercab frames are different

73 thru 76 use the power assist steering. So the front horns and mounting for the steering gear are different. One could weld the front of a 78,79. Or use the older style with power assist. I have 2 76 crewcab 4x4 shortbed frames that are in great condition. I believe (but not sure), that the 73-76 used the divorced xfer case.
