Can anyone recommend a BRIGHTER back-up bulb? I need to get rid of the factory ones so I can see where I'm going( and can't afford a night vision system). I had a pair of low profile KC auxilary lights on my Expedition but they got rocked from snow banks. Thanks in advance.
I would say go to Wally world and buy some low profile external mount lights and mount them to the bottom of the bumper. I think that what Im gonna do. Maybe mount them right beside the trailer hitch and hard wire them in. I bought some bulbs off the net, waste of money. Doesnt really make a difference if you have tinted windows, which I do.
I've got the white knight backup lights, it's kinda pricey, but it's got the relays and switch in the housing, all you do is tap into the backup light power wire, ground and 12v power wire. You can get it so it slips over the hitch and still be able to use it, or insert it into the hitch reciever.
