Air Bag Light Help Needed

I have an '00 Mountaineer and don't know much about air bag codes. The other day the air bag light came on and blinks 5 times then 3 times and then repeats. Anyone know what this means?

Ok so the thread says something about a short, but how would i figure out what to look at to rectify this situation?
