truck weight
How much do these trucks weigh? I have a 77 F150 4x4 with a 400 and the last time it was on a scale it was around 5300 pounds. (Hauled some trash). A guy I work with said I payed to much for the dump cause my truck weighs around 7000 pounds and I should have only payed for 500 pounds and not a ton.

My truck weighs 6900. Supercab F250 4x4 with a 460. About 500 pounds of that is tire. I don't think your truck weighs 7K. It's always hard to say but I'd agree with Mark that you're probably rolling right around 5K.

My truck weighs 5300 with me and a buddy in it. I would assume it weighs just under 5K, so you probably aren't too far off. The only thing different between mine and yours is a dana 60 rear. The rest should be about the same.
