Hi guys and gals. I was wondering how these torqueshifts(5R110) trannies are holding up? International is gonna use them behind the VT 275 in the new CF truck. Im just trying to get a feel for what i need to look at(common issues) when i have to start doin any repairs or maintenance to these things. I am scheduled for schooling in January and want to get a head start. Any info is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

My transmission started acting up at 1450 miles. Wouldn't go into gear. If you let it roll a foot or so it would, rather abruptly. Took it in and a pressure regulatro was found bad. The pan was dropped, valve replaced, fluid refilled and the truck was back to me the same day. No problems since. The Tow/Haul mode is awesome!!!!!
I have over 43,000 miles on my 03 6.0 Crewcab and the tranny is great-
Only item of note is the fact that the different flashes drastically affected the down shift points in tow/haul. Also, some FTE members have posted that they did not like how the flashes changed the tow/haul from the original early 03 programming.
