gas gauge?
for the past 2 weeks been cold here and my gas gauge has been sticking at half tank,when it is full.drive it and it will go up.this is a 2000 f-150,with 4.2 in it,has 76,000 miles.all others work fine.

I have a 2000 with the 4.6. When I fill up the tank I stop when I feel the first click from the nozzle. If I keep forcing more gas into the tank, my gauge acts weird for about 5 or 10 minutes. Stop refueling after that first click and see what your gas gauge does. It works for me. Good luck.
