Ses Light!!!
My pop's excursion is bone stock. so i took the red vacuum hose off the waste gate. i drove it to tampa (2 hour trip) doing 80-90 mph and everything was fine. on the way back i drove half way then switched seats with the old man. he drove with cruise control set at 78 mph. the SES light came on but the truck did not attempt to "defuel itself" and its not like the old man gunned it cuz cruise control was on and this is flat roads we're talkin bout here peoples. so there is nothing else wrong with the truck we can find, but its never happened before so whats the deal? i thought if the truck over boosts it would turn the light on AND defuel the truck??? SECONDLY, will the SES light go off eventually or do we have to spend bo0-koos of money to clear the codes.

something else must be wrong and caused it to through a code. you can unhook the batteries overnight and that should clear the code and turn the ses light off. but the best thing to do would be to take it to "auto zone" or "checker auto parts", they will read the code for free and you can find out what set the light
