TPS sensor

What will a bad tps do to a 92-96 truck? Will a bad tps sensor throw a code also??? I hear the tps is crucial to the shifting of the E4OD also???

To answer your question, the TPS will throw codes, affect the E4OD, and generally make the truck run like poop.

It will affect the E40D, and you could lose your "lock out". Bad for the trans. Fix it right away.

Test the TPS - it can be bad and not set a code.
