Predator Or Super Chips
I am going to buy a programer and can't decide between super chips or predator. I really like the predator but I have heard problems about egt's being to high even on tow mode. One other thing I like abou predator is the tranny settings. Oh yea it is for a 2001 7.3L f-250. If the egt's are a problem I will probably go ahead with the super chips. Thanks for any advice. Or any other chips or programers you know of that are better.

I have the preaditor like it a lot only using the lowest hp setting (tow) as no gauges on truck yet. on a cold day(20deg) about two weeks ago I could not stand waiting had to turn it up all the way and WOW it set a trans slip code right off the bat re-programed the trans did the same blast down the highway and WOW again and no slip code this time. Went back to the house and promptly turned it back down. Bought the prediator because of the code reading option also you can back out the tune for warranty work and no fingerptints in the trucks computer, I think

I bought my Superchips tuner last week and it is great. I took a 15 hour trip through the mountains towing a 24' enclosed trailer and couldnt believe the difference! What fun it was passing people going up steep grades!!
