lookin for engine help
ive got a 92 ranger with the 2.3 efi. ive got a k&n, an intake, exhaust, bosch platinums and 8mm wires. its not enough. i want to cam it but the cams i found are for a 2300ohc. is the ranger engine an over head cam??? im also going to port and polish it and put new pistons in it to drop the compresion so i can turbo it. anybody else tried that? if so what kinda luck and cost have you had?

I am also thinking about turbo. found '88 T-Bird for $800 w/intercooler and all the goodies. much easier to use engine set up for turbo already, money spent on individual parts could get you a V-8 instead. good luck whichever you choose.
