Well, its doing it again....the weather is getting cold and my 99 Sport is intermittently making a squeak-squeal on start up, when driving at all speeds and at idle. It did this last year when the weather turned cold and all winter long. I think it is the pilot hole that the torque conv. hub sits in. It may have corrosion there and when theres moisture in the air it makes the noise. It has been raining here for the past few days too. Anybody else have this symptom?? I am going to try to spray some pb blaster through the starter hole, but dont know if I will be able to reach the area.This noise is driving me batty, and I dont trust the dealer to remove the trans just to put some lube in there even tho its under warranty.
