Backspcing?
I'm trying to figure out what the right backspacing is for my truck. I've got to replace a wheel that I lost some time ago. The other wheels are 15 x 7 with 225/70 R15 tires on 'em. Any help would be appreciated. By the way, this is for a 99 Ford Ranger XLT Ext. Cab 2wd.

Take a wheel off the truck, flip it over so it's face-down on the ground, and put a straight edge accross the rim edge from one side to the other. Measure straight down from the bottom of the straight edge to the surface of the center of the wheel around the lug holes where it mounts to the hub on the truck. That distance is the backspace measurement.
