Any one ever heard of a kit that moves the rear seat in a crew cab 250 forward a little so that the depth of the box can be deepr? Also has anyone ever put the 40/20/40 seat from the front of a new sd to the back?
I have an 04 PSD CrewCab 4x4 and What I did is raise the rear seats 5" to accomadate a subwoofer bo2 10" Diamond Audio Subs) under the rear drivers side seat. I removed the Jack tray and rear carpeted liner on the bulkhead, and replaced it with a piece of carpeted 1/2" plywood to use as a mount for my two amps and Capacitor. Raising the rear seat also gives clearance behind seat. I esed steel rectangular tubing 1/4" thick 2" x 4" cut at an angle to raise the front brackets(3 ea) and on the rear I just cut it square (3 ea). One thing I had to do was also make up a few(2) custom steel 1/4' x 1 1/2" flat stock to raise the seat belts.
