Overhead console

My wife wanted to buy me an overhead console for my 97 F150. I do not need any fancy electronic things, just some storage. Any ideas where to get a quality unit? How do they attach? Thanks.

The shelf-it storage unit looks pretty good, but it's kinda big, don't know if you want something like that.

I find the stock overhead console on my XLT pretty useless, except for the temp reading.

Thanks. That looks pretty good, but it's a bit much. There seems to be a serious lack of storage in my truck. I just need an overhead storage unit for a couple pair of glasses, and some misc. junk.

I have always wanted a overhead console. It just looks so plain up there in between the visors. Of course I want a temp gague (out/in) and compass.

do a search on e-bay for "expedition console". there are some overhead consoles there that may be of interest to you for not too much $.

To find them on Ebay, type in < overhead consoles > and click "Search" When your general search comes up click on one of the E-bay sites and it'll take you to the overhead consoles, about four pages worth. Does anyone know how the console is attached to the F-150 roof? Would like to put one in my Aerostar

OK, you asked for it. The first compartment is for sunglasses the second is for a garage door opener, since I don't use either, I have little use for it. If you can make out the temp its 76F. (actual current temp!! NICE!!)
