I ordered the power valve from Diablo, my question is.... Is there anybody running the hard or (race) valve, everybody seems to be running the firm one, I am looking for solid (very firm) shifts, without tearing up my truck, any suggestions? These things shift way to soft for my taiste Also was it a easy install?
For the record, and just so nobody ask, I have a F-350 5.4 auto 4x4 3.73s
... so my question to you ken is if I got the power valve, could you re-program my diablo delta chip to not effect the transmission shifts? The way the chip does it firmed up the shifts, however when I am really on it it will still let it slip. It sounds like the powervalve would be the better device to use. But I don't think running both would be needed.
I know Ken can back down the line pressure on your chip, the cool thing about the chip is the fact that it takes the shift delays and such out, you would probally still want a little line pressure from the chip, even with the valve.
