80's ifs swap?

80's ifs swap?
I know you can swap the ifs from the seventies onto a 66 f250 2wd, but does the stuff from the eighties swap over, There's a few 80's two wheel drive f250's in my area, I think I could get one cheap. If anybody know's anything, it would help.

Seems to me someone over on the slick 60's site was doing a project like this and posting progress reports. Sorry I haven't got the link, try Google. But basically core support, cab and bed mounts would need to be fabricated along with an arrangement for the steering column.

Yup! Body swap! Gets you 40 years of advanced automotive technology up under your old Ford and dosen't spoil the looks of these beauties. Other than a body swap about the only thing that bolts on will be the wheels.
