Thanks randy, once i started playing(it took about a week before i figured most of it out) with the program i have i was able to get it pretty good, but it can always be better (the new i have should turn out even better), and the ohio logo you made up randy is what really got me motivated to get on this, and hopefully one should be decided on here in the next week.

John i think that a good window size should be no smaller than wat they appear on the screen, but who knows.

Chapter logo, Version 2.0

So after some playing around here's what i came up with:

Thats as far as i got (got to run some errands) but the FTE logo will go on the bottom, and i am going to try to flip the maple leaf so it's right side up.

Everyone should keep in mind that ,this is a logo for FTE (the truck web site) ...Not Alberta or BC the province.

Chapter Logo, Version 2.0

Here are both the alberta and b.c. logo. I myself like this style better, but right now i find that they look kinda of cluttered, but who knows, maybe we have a winner with these new versions.

Alberta:

B.C

Codeman,

If you are able to do it, put a 'stroke' or 'outer glow' around the outside of the main text to help it stand out from the background. I can send a sample if you need.

Also, the member thing is ok, but that may be too specific. Removing the names and 'member' would probably help reduce the clutter, too.

Otherwise, I like 'em.

Randy

I will see what if corel photoshop will let me do that Randy (i know what you mean) and the member name thing was just something i wasn't real sure about, but i think if the member's name is removed along with the word member it should look better. I'll see what i can do tonight and hopefully we can get a final version decided on here and then get an ok by ken.

I don't want to be a spoil sport but I counted 11 colours.

I just priced out 1000 window stickers at 3" x 8 1/4" ....in 2 or 3 colours and that will cost about $500.00

The less you order & the more colours in it, The cost increases.

A quick estimate would be about 5x the price above.

Like I mentioned before Cody, you are doing great creatively but, maybe try:

1) simplifying the logo,
2) reducing the colours .
3) Not Altering the FTE Logo in anyway.

I have a friend in the silkscreening business that has been great helping me out with things I've done. This could be beneficial but anymore than 5 colours isn't cost effective with anyone.

I suggest..no more than 4 colours.
Blue,Red,Green & (Black,Brown,etc)

k i'll see what i can do, like i've said before, I'm just putting these up as to get suggestion on how to make it better.

I will change all the blues to the same blue, and the same goes for the red, and to get the colours down i will have to do something with the sencerey, i might even see what else i can put in place of the senecery, and that might even look better, who knows. I'll see what i can do. Also this version would be a good one for those to use as an avatar or something similar, but for a sticker i will make those changes.

Oh Dennis, the only change i made to the FTE logo was i removed the white background, and in this thread: https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/s...d.php?t=316671, I linked this thread and ken checked it out and said it was fine, but i'll see what i can do.

So i've run into a few sags here. First off the provincial flowers were just out of place in the changes i'm making, and thus they had to be removed (in the latest versio that is posted up i made the changes runvs suggested and the logo looks way better, and i removed the flowers in that one as well). The second sag is with the colours. Now i've got the colour count down to 4 (red, blue, green, and black) but i'm not sure about the gray and white, as the FTE logo has the gray in it and the white and with these included in the count jumps to 6, and dennis (since you've priced this out , this is a big help btw) i'm wondering what the sticker maker condsiders these as (or if the white is just left clear)?

Also if the gray can be included, i can make the logo look a whole lot better by breaking up the white, and by putting grayscale pictures into the top left and bottom right corners.

The white is included in the price
The colour of the stock isn't charged for.
