IAC or MAF

I am currently experiencing poor/rough/low idle in my '91 2.3L four cylinder. Has anyone experienced this and if so which component gave up??? I'm thinking the IAC has a fault but no check engine lights have been tripped........yet. Any input will be greatly appreciated.

Cubster, I would look at the IAC as being the culprit. The MAF sensor gets dirty and causes problems, but I think you have a drastic loss of power with the MAF. You can take both of these off and clean them pretty easily.

i would say most likely IAC. if you want, you could pick up a cheap code scanner and just confirm what the computer codes are saying. good luck.
