All this talk of carnage of the year and most stuck, gave me another thought that might be interesting, I really don't know about making it a poll or a challenge but thought it might be interesting anyway I will leave making polls upto Pro he is so good at it, but if it is made into one than this needs to be in the last year but my thoughts were show how much your truck has changed (good or bad) anycase I will start with a pic that was taken Jan 1, and what it looked like this summer. So lets see what everyone has gotten accomplished this year https://www.ford-trucks.com/user_gal...oid=62601&.jpg https://www.ford-trucks.com/user_gal...oid=45366&.jpg

Captain's gonna move? Wait..there's an engine, too? O_O Wait..that's the ignored part of your equation. Ivan's gonna beat me when he comes out here in Feb.
My truck's just gettin better! Course..its just gotten duals pretty much...
I completed my 4x4 swap, got it running, and painted it. I don't know if it is changed that much, since I had the parts, just not all together working nothing was really "changed"
ted thats ok just wanting to see what everyone has done to thier trucks this year even if you had the parts you still put them on, so it's nice to see the progress of everyone, and never know it might give someone an idea or you might get one for your truck
i think i've got you guys close to beat on this one. i've owned my truck since september 03, and since then, i've swapped the bed, cab, interior, replaced a floor pan, switched out my steering, and i'm going to get a 390 for it next week. none of it is offroad mods, but do you guys think this is a pretty significant change?
Yeah, you probably have at least me beat. I did swap the bed when I repainted it. I painted each piece in my garage with spraycans, stored them, and then painted the cab when I took it all apart. Some around here weren't impressed, but I don't care. It is done now, and looks a whole lot better than before.
o i dont have anything painted yet, its still all multicolored, but at least the sheetmetals in place. looking back on the past year i've made alot of progress
You know, it would be possible under the right (wrong) circumstances for one person to win most changed truck, worst stuck and most carnage in the same year.
I don't have a before picture but on 1/1/04 my truck was a 4x2 rolling on 235/75's with an NP435 and a 3.08 8.8. the picture is as close of one to stock as i could egt, it was right after the 4x4 swap was completed. So knock 4" off of the ride height and that's where it was to start.
Since then it has become a 4x4, got 3.5's, a spooled 9", gutted interio, a t-18 (still looking for a 4x4 435), an NP 208, got lifted 4", got an NP205, 35-12.50/15's, a new bed, a new front bumper, rebuilt motor, drivers door, pass through rear glass. As it sits the only things i haven't messed with are the frame, main cab, pass. door, and front clip.
My 81 bogger was about the same as moster's ranger was when i got it, only it had front fenders and half a grill, Now it has 35's new motor tanny, t-case, new axles and a lift are on the way in about 3 months. But by flareside (pavement pounder) has had everything (and i mean everything) done to it except the body work.
how do i post pictures to a thread like these guys are doin? i was just thinkin it would be really cool if i set my box stock class gokart on 44s. i think the wheelbase is only 30some inches though.
