My friend's father used to bid on them, because he worked at Aberdeen Proving Grounds. He bought a 50 ton tank jack, that probably weighed 50 tons! He also had a bid in on a radio tower that was 200 feet tall, but he didn't win that one. He failed to notice that you only had a short time to remove the tower from the premises, and that 10 dollar tower would have wound up costing him hundreds to get moved! In short, they're neat acutions, but beware!
Looks to me like they need a web developer who can make the sites actually navigable. They are all rather clunky. If you can tolerate it, there is some decent stuff on them.
