Noises. Squeaks and creeks!

My 97 F150 is noisy. When I am in my driveway, navagating around other vehicles at slow speed with the window down, I can hear all sorts of squeaks and creeks. Not those annoying belt whines, but just overall squeaks. What gives, and how can I eliminate this? I can't hear anything with the windows up, but I am sure it does this everywhere, and it is quite embarrasing. Any ideas?

Thanks.

a good lube job should help, although these trucks don't have many grease fittings like older trucks.

If it is when turning the steering wheel, it's most likely the pitman arm. Or idler arm. Both of those are bad about squeaking wheen turning.

Actually, when turning the wheel it is very noisy. Can I just spray something on the steering linkage? There's not too many grease fittings.
