I'm getting the following code on my 2.3L Mazda/Ranger
335 (O) EGR feedback signal is/was out of range
I changed out the Vac regulator solenoid, I also removed the vac line to the EGR valve to see if the diaphragm was ruptured but no, is there anything else I should check?
One more question, I bought the new vac regulator solenoid from the Ford dealer but I think it is defective. I put a hose on it and blew into it then I applied 12V but it never closed. Am I testing this correctly? Also the coil resistence was .2 on the old unit and was pretty much a dead short when I tred to apply 12V. Most of the ones that I have to check out at work usually have a coil resistance of around 60 Ohms.
