I saw a quick tip on TV the other day while watching a automotive show they explaind how the cooling system worked and said replace it with the same stuff that came in it Hence if Orange/pink use that if it was green use that and usualy you owner manual will tell you exactly what ford recomend for there fluids. Hope that helps some.
You can use either--just flush the other stuff out really good, but I wouldn't keep that stuff more than a 2-year run in my truck's radiator no matter how good it is.
GMs alleged "DeathCool" probably comes from too many goofs leaving that stuff in an engine the whole 100K miles and then they are somehow shocked when the PH has changed and eaten gaskets away....
What about brown, had so many probs with mine bc the idiot before me decided to put regular tap water in it, AHHHHHHH, so yeah, i've flushed the system i don't know how many times and it is still brown, any ideas with that one, i'd love it
I've used the green stuff until it turns brown, and now i just leave it until I get a good fix.
