trans shifting problems
hey my 76 F150 had no problems when id shift the c-6 from park to drive or reverse and when i got how tonight something in the steering column broke cause my shifter wont change the gears i have to go under the hood to do this and that is a problem since i cant do this on the road if i have to throw it in neutral or reverse what how do i fix this and is it coustly cause i need this to get and forth from school and work pleaseeeeeee helpppppppp!!!!!!!! thanks alot

Check the collor first. I fits around the steering column and the shifter goes into it. they can crack.
after that you need to look at the rod where it connects under the hood and onto the tranny lever.
