c3 axle code???

c3 axle code???
Looking at an 03' f250 cc and it has an axle code of c3 which
I believe is 4:3 gears. If this is true I have really never heard of this (usually 4:10's or 3:73's) so how does this affect the truck as far as pulling, mpg's, highway, etc... Thanks for any information you may be able to provide!
