when i open the drivers door of my 92 f150 302 4x4 .....no interior light goes on.....it works on the passenger side door.....SO Im assuming its the switch....
my question,
where is the trigger for the light on the door frame?? (front of door frame, back etc.)
on my 92 ext. cab, the driver side door light switch is a button that sticks out about an inch, down below the striker and catch....mine didnt work either, when i got the truck, but some water displacer 1945 solved it in a hurry, it was just dirty
My '92 has a non-working driver's side switch too. The other 3 doors work fine (crewcab). I actually like that the driver's door switch doesn't work though, so I can open my door without the light going off. If I need the light, I just reach up and twist the headlight/dashlight dimmer switch all the way to the left and the interior light comes on .
