Pillar Rust
Has anybody experienced rust on the drivers side pillar next to the windshield? Is it fixable, or could it weaken the cab integrity. I've got an 88 Eddie Bauer and just noticed that the paint on the drivers side pillar is beginning to bubble from rust. She's got the normal rust spots, which I know are easy to fix, but the pillar rust has me concerned that it may not be fixable. Any thoughts?

If its just starting to bubble the paint, there is an excellent chance that it is just surface rust and can be sanded, primered and painted. That wont affect the integrity. get some sand paper and see if you can sand down to metal. If you can, do the rest then prime and paint it.
