PCV Valve Rattle during acceleration

I recently added a 3/8" intake spacer to my 3.0L (trying to fix the ping problem and add more power)- and now the PCV valve rattles during acceleration. I have tried several different manufacturers PCV valves including the original one (which didn't rattle before adding the spacer). I checked the manifold vacuum and it is the same as it was before I added the spacer (17 Hg at idle). I also connected the vacuum gauge to the PCV line and I see fluctuation during acceleration but this appears to be caused by the opening and closing of the PCV valve. (I removed the PCV valve and just checked the vacuum -- no fluctuation). Has anyone had a problem with the PCV Valve rattling during acceleration? Any ideas?
