Nah, European, they did sell them here for a little while, similar size to the Taurus...
The ST220 goes pretty hard, and the ST TDCi is VERY cool...

Logical- In 1980 I bought a brand new Cordoba. It was based on the Aspen/Volare chassis. It was one of the best looking cars I've owned, had the 300 crossbar grille, bucket seats, floor shift, etc. BUT, it was unreliable until I pulled off all the smog and lean burn (you could get away with that back then, even here in California), and replaced the lock-up 904 with a non lock-up 5 front clutch Torqueflite. (Lucky for me my brother can rebuild transmissions). Then it was a fun car. The Dart/Valiant were totally different cars, much more reliable, and did not have the transverse torsion bars like the Aspen/Volare (sloppy handling). Also, I recall that the Aspen/Volare were the most recalled cars in Chrysler's history, at least up to that time (1976).

Towing anything with it shows how gutless it is. It rattles like crazy and has only 34,000 miles. You can feel the power steering pump strain through the steering wheel when you turn a corner. It constantly makes a whistling sound when you hit the gas. It gets 12 mpgs while towing my mustang shell, but it does get 21 mpgs on the highway with the cruise control on and the tailgate down. It does have one good point, though--the A/C is the best out of anything I've ever been in. Oh, and the cupholders are pretty awesome.

Yeah, I know, FordLariat, I should trade it, but I'm spending all my money on my mustang.

Honestly, the 5.2 is a dog of an engine. The 5.9 is completely different in power. My F150 doesn't even have a cup holder

I sold the Dodge. Got me a 95 F250 Supercab 5 spd manual 460 & put it on dual fuel (Propane & gas). With propane at about 2/3 the price of gas here in beautiful British Columbia I can run cheaper than I did with the Cummins diesel and with less noise & maintenance costs. At 75 mph she's humming along at 2200 RPM you can barely hear the engine. On propane my oil is still clean after 3000 miles so I go 6,000 miles between oil changes. My brother had a propane setup on his 91 Dodge van & he went 488,000 miles without touching the motor. Then gave it to his kids who blew the tranny within a week.

The cordoba was a gorgeous car. Tried to acquire a few. With no luck.

I did wind up with a oldsmobile delta 88 custom cruiser. Not as beautiful but it seemed to sail down the road. Trusty 231. Not fast. Once you got it up to 120 you could hold it there. It took a week to get up there though. One fateful night it dropped down to -30 when I was on graveyard. Froze the coolant, well water was runnin 30% antifireeze for some stupid reason. I was young and didnt realize what had happend til I warped the heads. She got me home but was never the same. I did love that car. It had the coolest mirrors and shifter. Like on a yacht.
