Intermitten Miss...

Not have a tach... I have an ignition miss at low rpm.. have new plugs, wires,distrbi cap,rotor, and coil.. It seem to be around "1200-1500 rpm then smooths out.. any ideas ? f-150 4.9 6 cylinder 1993.

Did you use Bosch plugs? I had the same symptoms on a Ranger, and the mis was due to the previous owner installing Bosch plugs....relpaced the Bosch with Motorcraft, and the miss was fixed.

Intermitten Miss

It will be done today.... thanks, I need an inspection of my whole front end, they were working at night grinding the roadway and repaving.. in the dark I hit about a three inch rise in the road at 40 mph. About twenty cars and trucks did the same. It got nasty... road crews... vechiles...police.... (they fixed the roadway)
