Ford is offering $1000 cash back or reduced interest rates on the 2005 superduty trucks. Ford has also announced production cuts and shareholders don't like to hear about production cuts. So, my gut feel is that they will soon be forced to offer better incentives. You know that GM will do it and Ford will be forced to follow suit.
Wow your dealer should of told you. You are only entitled to what ever ford has to offer at the time of delivery. So if your truck comes when the $1000. Rebate is running you get it.
I wish everyone stopped buying new vehicles for awhile to get the price down. I really want the 2005 King Ranch. Took my 2002 trade-in, in only to find out it lost $15,000 in value. The truck only has 18K miles on it. This is making me think twice about buying new again. I could wait 2 years and let some one else eat the big loss $$$$$. And still get the 2005. Thank Torch
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think GM is offering around $3500 for the durmax and Dodge is around $2250 for the cummings. I was hoping that Ford would offer something similar before Christmas, but I'm not holding my breath. In fact, I think I'm going to get an 03 or 04 if I can find a reasonable deal.

A plan extends to Ford employees. D plan is for Ford dealers. On 05 super dutys priced at 45 K, they are generally 1700 to 2000 below invoice. X plan is for friends and family of A plan employees. They are generally a couple hundred below invoice. This is my understanding from a good friend who is a manager at a dealer. I may be a little off on who actually qualifies. Ie: A plan = FMC employees, D plan= dealers, X plan = cousin billy.
