Power Steering
My father was telling me that there might have been a recall on power steering on the ford explorers in the past. Has anybody heard of this? 1996 Ford Explorer. I went to their web site and there was nothing there. And yes in the last 3 months my mechanic told me I need to get the truck in to check the power steering so i am not sure if these two are related or not.

Nope, I don't see anything on PS pumps. There is one on your front sway bars though. Go here and look down the left side of the page and click 'search recalls':
